This is an illustrative composite: a pattern drawn from several engagements rather than a single booked client. It shows how we approach the problem. Details are anonymized where client confidentiality requires it.
The Challenge
A multi-location operator reviewed security footage one store at a time. Pulling video for an incident or a legal claim meant a separate login per location, hunting across cameras by hand, and exporting clips with no easy way to share them safely. Nobody had a single view of whether each site's recorder was even online and retaining footage.
Our Approach
We built one centralized retrieval application that pulled from the existing on-site recorders at each location into the client's own cloud storage, so no camera hardware had to be replaced. The app gave reviewers synchronized multi-camera playback around a timestamp, clip stitching across cameras and across time into a single export, and time-limited sharing links so a clip could go to an adjuster or attorney without handing out system access. A per-store health view flagged any recorder that dropped offline or fell behind on retention before it became a gap.
